Generations of wine tradition
Cantina Kaltern
Cantina Kaltern is an old-established cooperative winery representing a whole village and its wine growers. The winery is an ambassador for the wines produced on the shores of Lake Kaltern and especially for the variety Schiava (Kalterersee) – wines that are made by a community of vintners with great sensitivity, passion and expertise, wines with finesse and complexity and yet wonderfully uncomplicated.

The winegrowing region of Alto Adige is not just characterised by its striking mountains, rugged cliffs and high peaks, but also by the vineyards themselves, which are situated on impressive slopes and terraces. Wine and mountains as well as passion and challenges find themselves inextricably linked here.
For over a century, we have been processing the best hand-picked grapes from various altitudes to produce award-winning alpine wines. Using the necessary tools from a proven winemaking tradition and combining them with a tireless urge to explore and the eternal view of our majestic mountains.
Baron di Pauli
For over three centuries, Baron Di Pauli has embodied exceptional winemaking and a passion for excellence. Originating in Carano, Val di Fiemme, the family settled in Caldaro in the 18th century, where they helped shape the region’s winemaking tradition.
Recognized for their influence in both economics and politics, they were honored with the prestigious title of “Purveyor to the Imperial and Royal Court.” At the Baron Di Pauli winery, tradition and innovation come together to craft extraordinary wines that honor the past while shaping the future—each bottle telling a story of heritage and excellence.
