Details of the location
The vineyards are located on south and east-facing slopes at an altitude of 300 to 450 meters above sea level. The soil consists mainly of limestone gravel, which is loamy and well-drained.
From grape to wine
Vinification begins with destemming ripe and healthy grapes. This is followed by a brief cold maceration, then pressing and natural must clarification. Fermentation then takes place at controlled temperatures of 16 to 18 °C, followed by 4 months of ageing on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks.
The wine in the glass
− light straw yellow color
− vibrant freshness of elderberry and gooseberry, with hints of exotic fruits
− the palate is clear and juicy with fruit, followed by mineral crispness, leaving a lingering sensation reminiscent of a fruit orchard.

The perfect accompaniment
This Sauvignon pairs excellently with asparagus, grilled vegetables, fish, and goat cheese. It is also an excellent aperitif wine.

The origin of this wine
Sauvignon Blanc was introduced to Alto Adige at the end of the 19th century, together with Sémillon. Unlike Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc successfully established itself in the region and is now an integral part of Alto Adige’s wine landscape.
